Speaker Highlights
Merek Alam is a trend forecaster, CMF designer, filmmaker, and Avient's Phoenix-based ColorWorks™ Design Center Supervisor.
Before his tenure in this space, Merek attended College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI, where he earned his MFA in Color Material and Finish Design; as well as interned with Leatrice Eiseman, of Pantone and the Eiseman Center for Color.
Merek has spoken at Luxepack NY in 2024, presented CMG's 2026+ Material & Finish Report at CMG's 2024 Virtual Summit, and been a guest speaker at CCS on the topic of CMF. Prior to his time at CCS, Merek earned his Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and New Media Studies from Alma College in Michigan.
